[FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN']

The first game on Newgrounds that I actually got addicted to. Reminiscent of classic flash games from our childhood from the simplicity to the art style to the simple gameplay but runs much better like what you'd expect from a modern flash game. Gameplay is pretty straightforward with a DDR style arrow key rhythm set up however with a slight twist by having the player face off an opponent who basically gives you a preview of the upcoming notes (Although this does change from previews to different notes entirely from time to time in situations like duets). There are no lyrics to this game just sounds effects which at first glance may seem silly and something you probably would not take seriously. That is the first impression I originally received. However as soon as you start to play you soon realize these songs are extremely catchy and will get stuck in your head. Even as I'm typing this review I still hear the songs playing in my head which makes me want to stop everything I'm doing and play a quick game. I do wish there was a multiplayer feature to this game, I believe that would truly make it reach to new heights never reached on this website before however even without that this is still a fun and simple game that can get highly addictive. It's the best game I have played on Newgrounds so far and will be giving it a full 5 star review. Hopefully we can get more updates and modes in the future though, but with it's current state it still receives my full praise.
